JAKARTA - The majority of trading data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 4-8 April 2022 closed in positive territory. The highest increase this week occurred in the average daily frequency of 8.90 percent to 1,352,621 transactions from 1,242,024 transactions in the previous week.
Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) at the close of trading last Friday was in the green zone, and managed to touch a new psychological level, namely 7,200 or to be precise at 7,210.835, an increase of 1.87 percent from the position of 7,078,760 at the close of the previous week.
The stock exchange market capitalization also increased by 1.54 percent and managed to record a new record, which reached Rp9,000 trillion or to be exact, Rp9,046.305 trillion from Rp8,909.474 trillion in the previous week.
An increase of 0.06 percent occurred in the average daily transaction value of the Exchange, to Rp. 13.847 trillion from Rp. 13.839 trillion last week. Changes occurred in the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange by 1.50 percent to 22.199 billion shares from 22.536 billion shares at the close of the previous week.
Last Friday, foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of Rp1.411 trillion and throughout 2022, foreign investors recorded a net purchase of Rp37.517 trillion. (LM)
