ADHI to carry out Yogyakarta-Bawean Toll project worth IDR 5.03 trillion

JAKARTA – PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) scored a contract worth IDR 5.03 trillion to execute the Package I of the Yogyakarta-Bawean Toll project. The said project is scheduled to be completed in 730 days since the contract signing between PT Jasamarga Jogja Bawean (JJB), ADHI, and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (JMTM), last week (21/4).

Entus Asnawi, President Director of Adhi Karya, mentioned that this Yogyakarta-Bawean Toll project, spanning 75.2 kilometres long, consists of Section 1 and Section 6. “The project will span across the Central Java of 67.05 km and Special Region of Yogyakarta of 8.77 km. “Section 1 and Section 6 will be built in elevated and at-grafe structures. The land acquisition for the project is soon to be completed. Then, the construction will entail,” he explained in a press release quoted Monday (25/4).

The Yogyakarta-Bawean Toll project will be managed by JJB as the Toll Road Business Unit, with JSMR claiming 60% of the shares, ADHI of 12.5%, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) of 12.5%, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) of 12.,5%, and PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) of 2.5%.

According to Asnawi, the said project comprises the construction of the main road, a river and a traffic bridge, an underpass-overpass, as well as an interchange of Banyurejo and Ambarawa. (LK/ZH)
