Acset secures new contract IDR 82 billion in first quarter

JAKARTA — PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) in the first quarter of 2022 posted revenue of Rp290.11 billion, a decrease of 23.9% from Rp381.05 billion in the same period last year. The Company recorded a decrease in finance costs to Rp3.63 billion or 83.5% decrease from Rp22.07 billion in the first quarter of the same period in 2021. In this period, ACSET's net loss decreased by 68.6% from Rp79.68 billion in the first quarter of 2021 to Rp25.02 billion in the same period in 2022.

The pandemic which also contributed to the delay in the timely completion of ongoing projects and delays in the tenders that were followed were still factors that affected the Company's performance during this period. However, ACSET remains focused on internal improvement efforts aimed at strengthening the Company's fundamentals so that it is ready to move forward with the recovery that will occur in the construction industry in the future. Operational excellence that is carried out on a massive and sustainable basis is reflected in the reduction in costs and financial burdens since several periods ago

Until this period, the Company obtained new contracts amounting to Rp82.33 billion, which consisted of foundation and infrastructure projects. Among them are foundation work in Bentonite Cement Batang – Soil Improvement and KCC Float Glasskit Batang, all foundation projects are carried out by ACSET's subsidiary, PT Acset Pondasi Indonusa. In the infrastructure sector, ACSET got a job at Inter Change Cikande Toll Tangerang - Merak

Based on the contribution per business line in revenue generation this period was dominated by the infrastructure sector at 40.1%, construction at 47.6%, and foundation at 12.3%. (LM)
