VICI to buy Secretclean, expending IDR 100 billion

JAKARTA – PT Victoria Care Indonesia Tbk (VICI) takes over the Secretclean trademark from PT Natura Pesona Mandiri (NPM), a trading and cosmetic goods manufacturing company based in Tabanan, Bali, for IDR 100 billion. The said trademark is used on hand sanitizer, disinfectant, hand wash, and antiseptic.

Alfonsa Sheila Widyatna, Corporate Secretary of Victoria Care Indonesia, mentioned that the company is currently seeing a promising prospects in the healthcare and sanitation products. “Taking these opportunities into consideration, the company aims to develop a healthcare product under a separate brand that has been quite well-known,” she announced in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (4/5).

According to Widyatna, after acquiring this trademark, the company will turn it into one of the top brands of VICI. Up until now, the company has only been the distributor of Secretclean products of NPM.

The Public Appraisal Service Office of Febriman Siregar and Partners has set the market price of the Secretclean trademark to IDR 101.05 billion. Using the said price as a reference, the transaction between VICI and NPM was carried out using the price below the market level.

Both companies in this transaction share the same investor, Luhur Dino Herlambang and PT Gemilang Tunggal Prakarsa. (LK/ZH)
