JAKARTA – PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS), a garment and textile manufacturer, is optimistic about its export activities this year, hoping for a 20% increase from the 2021 record of IDR 577.56 billion, coming from third parties. The said target will then alter the total sales projection this year as well.

Widjaya Djohan, President Director of Trisula International, claimed that the subsidiary’s export sales faced an upturn following the global economic recovery in Q1 2022, especially in Australia, New Zealand, and the US. “The company is confident about bumping up its sales by 15%-20%,” he stated in the public expose quoted Friday (6/5).

According to Djohan, the company uses import materials for garments and textile products that will be exported internationally. Meanwhile, domestic market products will utilise local materials.

In December 2021, TRIS recorded sales of IDR 1.09 trillion, of which third-party exports sales covered IDR 577.56 billion. The related parties also contributed IDR 78.19 billion. Meanwhile third-party domestic sales brought in IDR 438.40 billion, followed by related partis of IDR 4.25 billion.

At the end of this year, the company expects to have its sales grow 10% to IDR 1.2 trillion, securing 25% profit growth from IDR 18.02 billion to IDR 22.5 billion. (LK/ZH)
