Waskita Karya seeks extra IDR 3.28 trillion in bonds and sukuk issuance

JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) will raise fresh funds of IDR 3.28 trillion at most by issuing the Bonds IV Year 2022 and Sukuk Mudharabah I Year 2022.

Both financial instruments have been registered to the collective custody of the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) by WSKT, listed for public offering. According to the official statement, the face value of these upcoming bonds is IDR 2.13 trillion. Meanwhile, the sukuk is valued at IDR 1.45 trillion.

The Bonds IV Year 2022 of WSKT will be offered in two series. Series A will be offered for IDR 658 billion in total, equipped with a fixed interest rate of 6.65% per year and a tenor of five years. Then, Series B bonds will be worth IDR 1.47 trillion, while its interest rate is set to 7.55% per annum and a tenor of seven years.

For the sukuk, Series A will be offered for IDR 383 billion, while Series B sukuk will be valued at IDR 765.1 billion. These sukuk series will be equipped with a floating profit-sharing rate as well as a five-year and a seven-year tenor each, respectively.

The public offering of these securities of WSKT begins today (10/5). The distribution will take place on May 12, 2022, while the recording in Indonesia Stock Exchange is set to August 12, 2022.

Several companies have been assigned as the lead underwriters of this bonds and sukuk issuance. They are PT Bahana Sekuritas, PT BNI Sekuritas, PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, PT DBS Vickers Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, and PT Mandiri Sekuritas. (KR/ZH)
