Baramulti Suksessarana decided on final dividends of USD 75 million

JAKARTA. PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (BSSR), a coal mining company formed in 1990, will distribute final dividends of USD 75 million, equal to IDR 1.07 trillion, which will be taken out of the net profit in the fiscal year 2021.

The said plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of BSSR held in late April 2022. The dividend to be distributed is equivalent to 36.6% of the company’s total net profit in 2021 of USD 205.16 million.

The dividend will be available for shareholders whose names have been recorded in the Shareholdrs List by May 19, 2022. Each shareholder will be granted dividends of IDR 411.05 per share. The dividend will be disbursed on May 24, 2022.

According to idnfinancials.com data, BSSR’s net profit in 2021 was supported by its satisfactory sales performance. The sales reached USD 691.37 million, proliferating 100% year-on-year (yoy). The coal sales mainly drove the total sales, selling 13.67 million tons.

As of May 9, 2022, PT Wahana Sentosa Cemerlang controls 50.01% of BSSR. Then, Tata Power International Pte Ltd claims another 26%, followed by GS Energy Corporation of 9.74%, PT GS Global Resources of 5%, and the public investors of 9.26%. The small remaining portion belongs to several directors and commissioners of the company. (KR/ZH)
