JAKARTA. A telecommunication provider, PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), reduces its ownership percentage in PT Princeton Digital Group Data Centres (PDGDC), a subsidiary of a data centre management, from 33.662% to 30%.

Ranty Astari Rachman, Corporate Secretary of XL Axiata, announces that the transfer of 245,362 shares of PDGDC took place last week (13/5), channelled back into Princeton Digital Group (Indonesia Alpha) Pte Ltd (PDG).

This arrangement then brought EXCL’s portion in PDGDC shrank to 2.01 million shares worth IDR 201.02 billion or 30% from the previous 2.25 million shares or 33.662%. Rachman revealed the specifics in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) last week (13/5). Meanwhile, Princeton Digital Group now has a claim over 4.69 million shares worth IDR 469.02 billion, equivalent to 70%.

XL Axiata also mentioned that the recent shares transfer from PDGDC to PDG is an extension of a transaction series that have been initiated bit by bit since 2019.

PDG is headquartered in Singapore. It is an investor, developer, and operator of internet infrastructure. PDG partners up with major scale global companies. On the other hand, XL Axiata now manages five high-quality data centres across Indonesia. (AM/ZH)
