JAKARTA. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) sets the target of credit distribution of BRIguna Digital to IDR 1 trillion in 2022. This online loan platform currently focuses on users with stable income, more specifically, civil servants.
Handaru Sakti, Executive Vice President of Consumer Lending Sales and Development Division of BRI, confirmed that as of now, BRIguna Digital may be utsed by civil servants. “In the future, BRIguna Digital will be extended to employees in State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), government institutions, and private companies,” he reassured the media in BRILiaN Center, Jakarta, last Friday (13/5).
Sakti expects the credit disbursement of BRIguna Digital to reach IDR 750 billion to IDR 1 trillion. Furthermore, BRIguna Digital has such a low interest rate in comparison to other banks with similar products, starting from 1% monthly or capped at 13% per year with a varying tenor from 6 months to 15 years.
Sakti hopes that the acceleration of BRIguna Digital may help others, especially civil servants, to avoid illicit loan facility services and educating them in order to free them from piling debts. (AM/ZH)
