SAMF revenue skyrocketed in Q1 2022, up by 182.92%

JAKARTA – The revenue of PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF), an NPK fertiliser manufacturer, jumped as high as 182.92% to IDR 839.49 billion in Q1 2022 from IDR 296.72 billion in the same period last year. This significant inflation was the aftermath of the increased demands for palm plantation and the fertiliser price surge.

Yahya Taufik, President Director of Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur, believed that the main factor behind the selling price surge is the higher raw materials price. “The company’s profit also exponentially grew to IDR 100.81 billion, shifting 324% from IDR 23.76 billion in the Q1 2021,” he added in the press release this Thursday (19/5).

According to Taufik, this early start will bear positive results at the end of this year. The management is optimistic about recording a more satisfactory performance in comparison to the previous years by riding the current crude palm oil (CPO) price surge. (LK/ZH)
