JAKARTA. PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) or Antam, a company member of the State-Owned Holding in the mining industry, recorded a net profit of IDR 1.47 trillion at the end of the first quarter of 2022.

The net profit in Q1 2022 was reportedly 132% higher than the same period last year, which was stuck on IDR 630.38 billion. Syarif Faisal Alkadrie, Corporate Secretary of Antam, mentioned that this net profit growth was triggered by sales optimalisation and global commodity price surge.

“The appropriate implementation of operational strategies has promoted the profitability of all main operational segments of Antam,” Faisal explained.
