JAKARTA. PT Bank Mestika Dharma Tbk (BBMD), a bank with total assets of IDR 16.8 trillion, will distribute cash dividends of IDR 138 billion from net profit for the 2021 financial year.
Suharto Kurniawan, Head of Corporate Secretary of BBMD, conveyed the plan in accordance with the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which was held a few days ago. In this meeting, shareholders agreed to allocate 26.6% of the company's net profit for the 2021 financial year as cash dividends.
Dividends will be given to shareholders, whose names are recorded in the Register of Shareholders (DPS) on June 7, 2022 at 16.00 WIB. Each holder of 1 share will receive a cash dividend of IDR34.26.
According to idnfinancials.com data, BBMD posted a net profit ofIDR519.58 billion in the 2021 financial year. In addition, the company also had a retained earnings balance ofIDR2.82 trillion as of December 31, 2021.
Currently, PT Mestika Benua Mas controls 89.44% of BBMD's shares. Public investors own as much as 8.97% of the shares and a small portion is owned by members of the company's board of directors and commissioners. (KR/LM)
