BELL expands network up to 10 points of sale

JAKARTA – PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL), a leading provider of quality fabrics, uniforms, and fashion products, will expand this year. BELL will add about 10 retail sales points under the JOBB and Jack Nicklaus brands. The additional point of sales is one of BELL's strategies to increase turnover and expand the BELL retail market network in 2022.

The retail segment's performance in the first quarter of 2022 posted positive results with revenue of IDR24.3 billion and an increase of 38.8% compared to the first quarter of 2021. BELL is optimistic that the performance of this retail segment will continue to improve until H1-2022, especially with the momentum of Hari Raya in Quarter II-2022.

Heru Jatmiko Harrianto as Director of BELL said, "In order to take advantage of the post-covid momentum that is leading towards an endemic, where shopping appetite and consumer demand have increased quite high, BELL through its Subsidiaries plans to add about 10 retail sales points that can contribute to additional sales turnover of around IDR10 billion in 2022. Through this expansion, BELL also hopes to increase market share for the JOBB and Jack Nicklaus brands.”

Although the performance of the retail segment has improved, BELL's total net sales decreased by 13.8% YoY in Q1- 2022. This decline was mainly due to a significant decline in sales in the uniform segment for the first quarter of 2022, for this segment was still affected by the delay in the uniform procurement project due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, BELL is optimistic that the uniform segment's performance will improve in H2-2022, when the budget for the procurement of uniforms for the private and government sectors is predicted to be realized.
