JAKARTA. PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL) plans to channel out cash dividends of IDR 128.91 billion or IDR 10.5 per share, which will be taken out of its net profit in 2021.
Said plan aligns well with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of MTDL held on June 2, 2022. In this meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 25.33% of the fiscal year 2021 as cash dividends.
Randy Kartadinata, Corporate Secretary of MTDL, mentioned that dividends will be disbursed to shareholders whose names have entered the Shareholders List by June 14, 2022. The payment itself will be made on July 6, 2022.
As of December 31, 2021, MTDL scored IDR 508.88 billion of net profit. Meanwhile, its retained earnings clocked up to IDR 2.25 trillion, and its total equity was worth IDR 2.76 trillion in total.
The remaining MTDL’s net profit in 2021, amounting to IDR 379.98 billion, will be added to the retained earnings.
Until March 31, 2022, PT Ciputra Corpora still controls 35.83% of MTDL’s shares. Then, Medya Lengkey S. claims another 16.39%, followed by Sukarto Bujung of 7.28%, Pangolin Inv Man Pte Ltd of 5.70%, and public investors of 34.44%.
