JAKARTA – Frasers Property Thailand Pte Ltd acquires two subsidiaries of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) worth IDR 562.17 billion in total. These subsidiaries in question are PT SLP Surya Ticon Internusa (SLPSTI) and PT Surya Internusa Timur (SIT).
Herman Gunadi, Corporate Secretary of Surya Semesta Internusa, confirmed that his company had sold off its entire portion in SLPSTI and SIT yesterday (6/6). “The sale of SLPSTI’s shares reached IDR 430.58 billion, while SIT’s reached IDR 131.59 billion,” he revealed in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (7/6).
According to Gunadi, the company secures extra funds by divesting its shares in both subsidiaries. As of now, the company no longer has any equity portions in those companies. (LK/ZH)
