Protelindo secures IDR 2.6 trillion credit from HSBC Indonesia

JAKARTA. PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Telekomunikasi Tbk (TOWR), has signed the credit facility agreement worth IDR 2.6 trillion provided by PT Bank HSBC Indonesia.

The credit given by HSBC Indonesia to Protelindo consists of two types of facilities. Facility A is worth IDR 1.3 trillion, while Facility B has IDR 1.3 trillion worth of credit. Each facility’s tenor is set to three and six years, respectively.

Adam Gifari, Vice President of TOWR, mentioned that said credit facility is intended to be utilised to cover the company’s general needs. “Then, it will also be utilised in refinancing several existing credits,” he further explained through the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Previously, in May 2022, Protelindo also acquired a credit facility of IDR 2.5 trillion from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI). Then, in April 2022, Protelindo also obtained a loan facility worth USD 40 million from the Jakarta Branch of JP Morgan Chase Bank. (KR/ZH)
