MNC Land locks in two new investors

JAKARTA – Herst Investments Limited and Regency High Enterprise Ltd step in as the new shareholders of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) via a private placement earlier this week (6/6).

In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (9/6), these new investors are reported to have bought 8,062,572,666 shares issued by KPIG at a fixed price of IDR 100 each. Therefore, cumulatively, the entire proceeds gained by the company from this corporate action clocked up to IDR 806.25 billion. It will all be utilised in funding KPIG’s projects, including the development of property and tourist attraction in the Lido Special Economic Zone (lit. Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus/KEK Lido) in Jawa Barat.

The masterplan of the KEK Lido of MNC covers 1,040 hectares (Ha) of land, upon which will be built several hotels over a plot of 24 Ha, an amusement park of 74 Ha, MNC Park of 47 Ha, as well as a film and music studio.

Until April 2022, the company’s shares have reached 80,625,726,664 units. UOB Kay Hian Hong Kong owns 19.5% of them, followed by PT MNC Investama Tbk of 17.07%, HT Investment Development of 10.89%, and the public of 52.54%. (LK/ZH)
