Supreme Cable to give out cash dividends of IDR 200 per share

JAKARTA. PT Supreme Cable Manufacturing & Commerce Tbk (SCCO), the cable manufacturer with the highest market capitalisation in Indonesia, announces its decision to distribute dividends of IDR 200 per share or IDR 41.12 billion in total.

Said arrangement had been approved during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting on June 7, 2022. The shareholders agreed to spare 29.05% of the net profit in the fiscal year 2021 as cash dividends.

The dividend will be channelled out to shareholders whose names have entered the Shareholders List by the recording date, which falls on June 17, 2022. Then, the payment will follow on July 7, 2022.

According to idnfinancials.com data, SCCO collected a net profit of IDR 141.56 billion at the end of 2021. Meanwhile, its retained earnings reportedly clocked up to IDR 96.44 billion.

As of March 31, 2022, PT Moda Sukma controls 33.56% of SCCO’s shares. Then, PT Tutulan Sukma has another 29.57% of shares, followed by Furukawa Electric Co Ltd, Japan, of 11.81% and public investors of 24.96%. (KR/ZH)
