JAKARTA. PT Bank Mandiri Taspen, one of the subsidiaries of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), will pay out cash dividends of IDR 80.71 billion, which will be taken out of the 2021 net profit.
Said arrangement follows the circular decision of shareholders of Bank Mandiri Taspen made on June 14, 2022. These decisions include the allocation of 12.5% of the 2021 net profit as cash dividends, another 86.73% as retained earnings, and 0.77% as mandatory reserves.
According to idnfinancials.com data, BMRI currently has 51.12% of Bank Mandiri Taspen’s shares. Then, PT Taspen (Persero) claims another 48.44%, leaving the remaining 0.44% to IB Made Putra Jandjana.
In other words, BMRI will receive diviends of IDR 41.25 billion. Then, another IDR 39.1 billion will be channelled out to Taspen, while IB Made Putra Jandjana gains IDR 360 million.
Throughout 2021, Bank Mandiri Taspen recorded a net profit of IDR 645.6 billion. Said amount was reportedly 50% higher than the 2020 net profit of IDR 429.1 billion. (KR/ZH)
