Bank Syariah Mandiri approves TAMU’s loan restructuring scheme

JAKARTA – PT Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) agreed to the proposed financing restructuring scheme issued by PT Pelayaran Tamarin Samudra Tbk (TAMU). The agreement will affect the cash flow and the stabilise the company’s revenue.

Edi Purwanto, Director of TAMU, claimed that the company is granted the repayment due date extension of up to six months to March 2025 from the initial due in September 2024. “On May 30, 2022, the company and BSM had agreed on the extension of the financing tenor of six months since the the restructuring scheme takes effect,” he said in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (16/6).

As of March 2022, the company reports having cash in US dollars of USD 2,180 and Indonesian Rupiah equivalent to USD 71 in BSM. Then, in December 2021, it recorded cash in US dollars of USD 545,692 and Indonesian Rupiah equivalent to USD 69.

Additonally, TAMU also owed long-term debts to BSM of USD 8.52 million as of March 2022 and USD 9.02 million as of December 2021. (LK/ZH)
