PAM Mineral sues two companies following the jetty barricade

20 June 2022 11:26

JAKARTA – PT PAM Mineral Tbk (NICL) takes legal action against PT Bumi Marowali Utama (BMU) and PT Transon Bumindo Resources (TBR) to Jakarta Metro Police regarding the forgery of land certificate in the jetty area in Laroenai, Central Sulawesi. This report follows the restriction of access to a hauling road and jetty issued by TBR back in May 2022. TBR itself is a part of Transon Group.

In the information disclosure quoted Monday (20/6), Rudy Tjanaka, President Director of PAM Mineral, confirmed that said criminal case has been registered accordingly under No.TBL/1972/IV/YAN.25/2021/SPKTMJ. “The substance is land certificate forgery. It is currently under investigation,” he said.

According to Tjanaka, although the company is still running to this day, its selling activities are denied as the access to the area is restricted. His company has no information regarding the reason behind said road blockage as the production has been established for a while now.

“Based on the letter from Laroenai Village, said road is to be used simultaneously by several companies,” Tjanaka explained.

Due to this unfortunate event, NICL grows pessimistic in being able to achieve the revenue target specified in its Sustainable Financial Activities Plan of 2022. (LK/ZH)
