JAKARTA – PT Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (ALKA), an aluminium manufacturer, is optimistic about attaining the sales target of IDR 3.47 trillion by the end of this year. In order to achieve said objective, the company will expand its local and export market share.
Sucipto Tanro, President Director of Alakasa Industrindo, said that his company has managed to record sales of IDR 1.36 trillion, which covers 40% of the total sales target. “Our sales target is set to a minimum of an equal amount of sales last year,” he mentioned in the public expose quoted Thusday (30/6).
In December 2021, ALKA posted sales of IDR 3.47 trillion, increasing from the sales in the same period in 2020 of IDR 2.04 trillion. Its gross and net profit reportedly clocked up to IDR 42.51 billion and IDR 17.45 billion in 2021. In comparison, in 2020, the gross profit reached IDR 46.93 billion, while the net profit arrived at IDR 6.68 billion.
According to Tanro, the domestic and global market this year are relatively improving from the previous condition, which was adversely affected by the COVID-19. “Although there is the Russia-Ukraine conflict that sends the fuel oil price skyward, we hope said issue could be settled,” he added.
The customers of ALKA that brought in over 10% contribution to the revenue include Chalco Trading Hongkong Co that generated IDR 1.10 trillion, Xiamen Great Corporation that handed in IDR 404.74 billion, and PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) or Inalum, which gave IDR 447.05 billion. (LK/ZH)
