JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) was observed to strengthen at the end of the first session today (8/7). The JCI rose 54.57 points or 0.82% to 6,707.16.
The majority of sectoral indexes strengthened and pushed the JCI into the green zone. The biggest increase occurred in the Technology IDX sector which skyrocketed to 2.33%. Then, followed by the transportation and logistics sector, as well as the financial sector.
According to Kontan's report this afternoon, the top gainers for LQ45 were PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO). (LM)
