Debuting, Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya to offer 1.11 billion shares

JAKARTA. PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari Tbk (ELPI) will issue 1.11 billion shares in the initial public offering (IPO) in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The total shares issued by ELPI is 15% of its entire issued and paid-up capital. Each share is valued at IDR 100 and will be offered for a price in a range between IDR 190 and IDR 240 per share. The company is expected to raise a total proceed of IDR 211.28 billion to IDR 266.88 billion from this IPO.

The bookbuilding phase will last from July 14 to 21, 2022. Then, the main public offering will follow on August 2-4, 2022, before reaching the conclusion at the listing on IDX on August 8, 2022.

For context, ELPI is a company established in 1992. Currently, the company is operating over 100 units of vessels. Furthermore, based on the IPO prospectus, ELPI also lead several different business lines, including vessel lease, offshore projects, logistic, EPC, as well as training and development.

PT Kreasi Cipta Timur is listed as the present controlling shareholder of ELPI, owning 96.90% of the company’s shares. Tran Christian Taniputra secures another 3%, while Eka Taniputra has the small remaining 0.10%.

ELPI has assigned PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM) as its executive underwriter and will announce other underwriters in the near future. (KR/ZH)
