JAKARTA – PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN), a subsidiary of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META), plans to acquire 40% of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk’s (JSMR) portion in PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JCC).

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (19/7), Dahlia Evawani, Corporate Secretary of Nusantara Infrastructure, revealed that the company and JSMR are currently filling out the prerequisite conditions. “The transaction is targeted to be carried out next month (10/8),” she mentioned.

The total shares to be involved in this transaction reach 2,265,778 units, whose total value is capped at IDR 4.38 trillion. This transaction is approximately 129% of META’s equity reported in December 2021 of IDR 3.36 trillion.

In December 2021, the company managed to gather a net profit of IDR 25.7 billion, total assets of IDR 6.58 trillion, as well as cash and cash equivalent of IDR 986 billion.

According to Evawani, this transaction plan will not adversely affect the business as the company has sufficient working capital and a healthy cash flow to fund this corporate action. (LK/ZH)
