Diagnos Laboratorium to open in Batam
JAKARTA. PT Diagnos Laboratorium Utama Tbk (DGNS), a clinical laboratory network managing company, has established its most recent branch in Batam, Riau Islands.
Fanfan Riksani, General Manager and Corporate Secretary of DGNS, claimed that this new outlet establishment is a part of the business expansion plan. “It is expected to increase the company’s revenue,” he added in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
In addition to this, the management of DGNS also believes that the opening of a new outlet in Batam may aid the government in the equal distribution and access of health and laboratories in Indonesia.
The amount of investment placed by DGNS for this new laboratory is undisclosed. However, based on idnfinancials.com data, the company has set the capital expenditure budget to IDR 40 billion this year, which is much higher than the 2021 budget of IDR 22.8 billion.
