JAKARTA – PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo Tbk (ROTI) allocates IDR 214.21 billion to repurchase 126,007,599 shares in a buyback scheduled to last from today (21/7) until October 20, 2022. This corporate action is the sixth buyback carried out this year.
Ida Apulia Simatupang, Director of ROTI, revealed that the purchasing price in this buyback is capped to IDR 1,700 per share. “This corporate action will not drag down the company’s revenue as the funds are taken out of the operational activities budget,” she explained in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (21/7).
ROTI has assigned PT BCA Sekuritas as the security company that will arrange the buyback. For the record, the purchasing price in this upcoming round of buyback is higher than the one in October 2021 of IDR 1,600 per share. (LK/ZH)
