JAKARTA. PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (SIMP), a palm oil refinery company under Salim Group, will distribute cash dividends of IDR 13 per share or IDR 201.5 billion in total to its shareholders.

Mark Wakeford, President Director of SIMP, claimed that this dividend payout is a gesture of appreciation for the shareholders, who continue to support the company even amidst the trying times in the last couple of years. “SIMP Group will keep managing our business carefully along the current economy and market conditions,” he added.

Said plan also follows the result of the Annual General Shareholders of SIMP held last Thursday (21/7). The shareholders agreed to channel out 48% of the net profit gained in 2021 as cash dividends.

According to idnfinancials.com data, SIMP posted a net profit of IDR 421.19 billion in 2021. The net profit of the company was 3.52% higher compared to the number reported in 2020.

Until March 31, 2022, 73.46% of SIMP’s shares are listed under Indofood Agri Resources (IFAR), Singapore. Then, another 6.68% belongs to PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF). Public investors gain 19.86% of them, leaving the directors and commissioners of the company the small remaining portion of shares. (KR/ZH)
