MOLI allocates IDR 240 billion in capex for construction of second ethanol plant

JAKARTA - PT Madurasa Murni Indah Tbk (MOLI) has allocated a capital expenditure or capex of IDR240 billion to complete the company’s second ethanol plant, which IS targeted to be completed in the first half of 2023.

Donny Winarno, Director of MOLI, said that around 70 percent of the capex funds come from bank loans and the remaining 30 percent comes from the company's internal funds. For information, the Fermentation 2 unit is currently under construction and is targeted for completion by the end of 2022.

This second factory will have a capacity of 50,000 kiloliters. Currently, the company's production capacity is 80,000 kiloliters and will later increase to 130,000 kiloliters.

Regarding export expansion, MOLI will continue to penetrate the market, especially in Asia and Asean. Some of these countries are Thailand and Vietnam. The company said the revenue composition target this year is 60 percent for the domestic market and 40 percent for the export market. (LM)
