Sari Roti generated 12.7% higher revenue in H1 2022

JAKARTA. PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo TBk (ROTI), a food and beverages (F&B) company famous for Sari Roti brand, managed to score a net profit of IDR 137.29 billion in H1 2022.

The net profit of ROTI in H1 2022 reportedly grew 12.7% year-on-year (yoy) compared to the H1 2021 gains of IDR 121.79 billion. The net profit increase in H1 2022 coincided with its sales surge, which arrived at IDR 1.79 trillion, also shifting by 15.1% yoy.

Looking at its products, breads still dominated the sales by contributing IDR 1.21 trillion to the revenue of ROTI in H1 2022. Then, sweet breads followed behind with IDR 657.97 billion of sales, surpassing cake sales of IDR 126.1 billion and other products sales of IDR 14.74 billion.

In May 2022, the management of ROTI had announced its plan to diversify its products, branching out to sell chocolate spread and chocolate milk. Both products are projected to contribute 6% to the company’s total sales in 2024.

Until June 2022, PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET) was listed as the owner of 25.77% of ROTI. Demeter Indo Investment Pte Ltd then claimed another 22.16%, followed by Bonlight Investments Ltd of 20.79%, Pasco Shikishima Corporation of 8.5%, Lief Holding Pte Ltd of 6.06%, and public investors of 9.56%.
