JAKARTA – PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT) secures additional capital worth IDR 53.54 billion from PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) following the issuance of 107,090 shares, the entirety of which is acquired by WTR as its parent company.
In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (27/7), the issuance of TJT’s new shares are said to cover financing needs, especially for the Ciawi Sukabumi Tollway project, which is expected to optimise its performance in the future.
After this transaction, WTR’s portion in TJT remains stable at 99.99%. However, the total value of its portion now climbs to IDR 1.87 trillion from IDR 1.82 trillion. The small 0.1% left belongs to Waskita. For more information, TJT’s authorised capital clocks up to IDR 3 trillion, which is split to 600 million shares of IDR 500 thousand each.
Approximately 92.10% of WTR is controlled by PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT). This transaction equals 0.35% of WSKT’s equity reported in December 2021 of IDR 15.46 trillion and equals 0.24% of WTR’s equity in December 2021 of IDR 22.25 trillion. (LK/ZH)
