JAKARTA. PT Eratex Djaja Tbk (ERTX), a textile manufacturer, announces its plan to distribute cash dividends of IDR 2.91 per share or IDR 3.74 billion in total.
Said plan aligns well with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of ERTX held last week. In this meeting, shareholders gave their consent regarding the allocation of 14% of the net profit in 2021 as cash dividends.
The cash dividend will be paid ot to ERTX’s shareholders whose names have been officially listed by the recording date that falls on August 10, 2022. Then, the disbursement will take place on September 1, 2022.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, ERTX scored USD 1.58 million of net profit in 2021, which is equivalent to IDR 23.6 billion, assuming that USD 1 equals IDR 14,899.2. At the end of 2021, the company also posted retained earnings of USD 8.59 million.
Until March 31, 2022, PT Ungaran Sari Garments is still listed as the owner of 97.16% of ERTX. The remaining 2.84% is claimed by public investors. (KR/ZH)
