JAKARTA. PT Ulima Nitra Tbk (UNIQ), a coal mining service provider, has secured three contracts for coal mining service projects.
Those three contracts are obtained from PT Budi Gema Gempita, PT Kasih Karya Agung, and PT Citra Bara Raya. The deals were bagged throughout February-July 2022.
Burhan Tjokro, President Director of UNIQ, mentioned that the contract procurement boosts the company’s optimism in attaining the target of 15 million bank cubic metres of coals by the end of this year. Moreover, he noticed that the coal reference price has climbed to USD 319 per ton since the beginning of 2022.
“The company is confident that the additional mining projects will grant significant contribution to the company’s revenue, and thus advancing the company’s cash flow in the future,” Tjokro further explained.
In the official announcement, Tjokro also revealed that UNIQ is currently managing five mining projects in several areas, from Muara Enim to Lahat.
On the other hand, the company is said to undergo some projects, which have entered the negotiation phase. “Therefore, more new projects are predicted to pile up until the end of this year,” Tjokro claimed. (KR/ZH)
