JAKARTA - The significant growth of the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia has encouraged many drug manufacturers to continue to expand their distribution network. As a subsidiary of BUMN, PT Phapros Tbk in August officially cooperated with Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), which is one of the Top 3 distributors of pharmaceutical products in Indonesia. This collaboration was marked by the signing of an agreement between Phapros (PEHA) and AAM on Monday (8/8) at the Phapros office, Mega Kuningan area, South Jakarta.
According to Phapros Marketing Director, Imelda Alini Pohan, Phapros wants to expand the distribution of its products so that they are easily accessible to the public, especially in areas that were previously difficult to reach, due to limited supply chain networks, infrastructure access, and logistical problems.
"We want the fulfillment of medicines for the community to reach all corners of the country, and this is our responsibility as a national pharmaceutical company," said Imelda during the signing.
Previously, Phapros' performance in Semester I/2022 showed positive growth in terms of sales. The financial report recently released by PEHA recorded sales growth of 21 percent, higher than in 2021 for the same period. In addition to sales, Phapros' positive performance in the first six months of 2021 is the decline in the company's long-term liability ratio by 6 percent compared to last year. Meanwhile, in terms of profit for the current period, Phapros also posted an increase of 7 percent compared to 2021, and also an increase in earnings per share of 8 percent. (LM)
