JAKARTA – PT Harapan Duta Pertiwi Tbk (HOPE), a carrosserie manufacturer, sets the target for its presales to IDR 100 billion by the end of this year. Until April 2022, the company had collected presales of IDR 43.5 billion.
In the public expose treatise quoted Tuesday (9/8), Rita Widya Saputri, Corporate Secretary of Harapan Duta Pertiwi, claimed that the highest contribution is predicted to come from dump truck sales, which will be employed in coal and nickel mining activities.
“Other than the mining sector, the product that has record of high market share is the product for the oil fuel tanker or transportation and its logistics,” Saputri added.
According to Saputri, the company’s sales turnover will continue to rise in the second half of 2022, all the while being particularly dominated by one segment.
In 2021, the dump truck segment contributed 88.7% of the total revenue of HOPE, amounting to IDR 50.2 billion. It was a noticeable improvement from the revenue reported during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was stuck at IDR 29.7 billion. (LK/ZH)
