JAKARTA. The Indonesian government has managed to score IDR 10.64 trillion in the auction of six series of Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk last Tuesday (9/8).

Those six series offered in said auction were SPNS07022023, PBS031, PBS032, PBS029, PBS034, and PBS033. The total incoming bids recorded yesterday reached IDR 30.85 trillion.

PBS031 gathered the most interest, bringing in total bids of IDR 15.31 trillion. Then, PBS032 returned bids of IDR 7.04 trillion, followed by PBS029 of IDR 6.05 trillion, SPNS07022023 of IDR 1.2 trillion, PBS033 of IDR 708 billion, and PBS034 of IDR 538 billion.

It is worth noting that the total incoming bids in this round of auction was higher than the indicative target initially set by the government. Earlier this month, the Indonesian government had aimed to gain IDR 7 trillion in yesterday’s auction. (KR/ZH)
