Providing electric motorcycles, Pos Indonesia to pair up with Volta

JAKARTA. PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), through one of its subsidiaries, PT Pos Logistik Indonesia (Poslog), has signed the cooperation agreement with Volta in regard to the electric motorcycle rental plan.

Along with this collaboration, Poslog plans to utilise said electric vehicles from Volta for its operational activities. “With this partnership initiated with Volta Indonesia, we wish to reduce the carbon emission and opt for more environmentally friendly operational vehicles,” Adrian Cholid, CEO of Pos Logistik Indonesia, explained.

On the other side of the partnership, Iwan Suryaputra, CEO of Volta, also plans to initiate more collaborative moves with various sectors in order to promote electric vehicle infrastructure. “It is also to aid Indonesia to walk in the direction of the green economy,” he added.

For the record, Volta is a subsidiary indirectly owned by M Cash Integrasi (MCAS) Group. Currently, the electric motorcycles developed by Volta have been equipped with the Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
