Lontar Papyrus to issue IDR 1.05 trillion bonds

JAKARTA – PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry Tbk (LPPI) aims to collect IDR 1.05 trillion during the public offering of the Shelf-Registration Bonds I Phase III Year 2022 next week, from August 26 to 29, 2022.

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (16/8), Kosim Sutiono, Director of LPPI, revealed that these bonds will be offered in three series. Series A will be offered for IDR 281.88 billion with a tenor of 370 days and an annual interest rate of 6.50%. Then, series B is set to IDR 702.46 billion, equipped with an annual interest rate of 10.25% and a three-year tenor. Lastly, series C will be worth IDR 65.65 billion, completed with a five-year tenor and an interest rate of 11% per year.

LPPI plans to utilise 20% of the proceeds to pay the principal and interest of loans while allocating the remaining 80% to purchase raw materials, auxiliary materials for production, energy and fuel, as well as cover package and overhead costs.

The raw materials needed by LPPI for its production are timbers, chemical ingredients (51% of imported goods and 49% of local), and packages.

The underwriters assigned for this bonds issuance are PT Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia, PT BCA Sekuritas, PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, PT Sucor Sekuritas, and PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM). (LK/ZH)
