CENT to acquire 289 telecommunication towers

JAKARTA – PT Centratama Menara Indonesia (CMI) wraps up the first round of acquisition of 289 telecommunication tower sites from PT Lesmana Swasti Prashida (LSP) and PT Techindo Global Fortace (TGF).

Wiwik Septriandewi, Corporate Secretary of PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT), the parent company of CMI, confirmed that the transaction took place last week (12/8), with a price of IDR 632.53 billion. “The sale and purchase of said tower sites takes effect based on the Conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement (CSPA) signed on April 14, 2022,” she added in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (18/8).

According to Septriandewi, the next round of acquisition will be completed by April 14, 2023, as stated in the sale and purchase agreement.

The towers of LSP and TGF are located in several different locations, including Jabodetabek, Banten, East Java, Central Java, West Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Southern Sumatra, and Northern Sumatra,

For the record, the transaction value is equal to approximately 28.43% of the company’s equity reported at the end of December 2021 of IDR 2.22 trillion. (LK/ZH)
