JAKARTA – PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) obtains a credit facility worth IDR 300 billion from PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. Jerry Fandy Tunjungan, Director of Finance of ASSA, announced the news in the information disclosure quoted Friday (19/8).
It is mentioned that this al-musyarakah line facility will be spent on purchasing new vehicles. “Said vehicles will then be leased for public, which will boost the company’s business expansion,” Tunjungan further explained.
In the first quarter of 2022, the car rental, autopool, and driver service segments contributed IDR 409 billion to the total revenue of IDR 1.5 trillion. Meanwhile, the express shipping service generated IDR 899 billion, followed by the logistic business, auction services, and used car sales.
The car rental segment has started to decline within the last three years. In 2019, the rental segment managed to bring in IDR 1.52 trillion, while the shipping service could generate IDR 84 billion. On the contrary, in 2021, the contribution of the car rental business was depleted to IDR 1.61 trillion, whereas the delivery segment’s revenue reached IDR 2.76 trillion. (LK/ZH)
