JAKARTA. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) will distribute interim dividend worth a total of USD 25 million or USD 0.0010 per share.
This plan came out from the Meeting of Boards of Commissioners and Directors of MEDC held earlier this month. The amount of interim dividend agreed in the meeting is equal to 9.26% of the net profit of MEDC collected in the first half of 2022.
The interim dividend will be channelled out to MEDC’s shareholders whose named had been listed officially by August 22, 2022. The payment will be made on September 8, 2022.
MEDC will use Bank Indonesia’s mid-rate currency exchange on August 22, 2022, in this interim dividend distribution, which amounts to IDR 14,858 per USD. At this rate, the shareholders will receive interim dividend worth IDR 148.58 per share.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, MEDC managed to raise USD 270.1 million of net profit in H1 2022, which is equivalent to IDR 3.94 trillion. Said amount of net profit in H1 2022 reportedly proliferated 482.11% from the same period last year. (KR/ZH)
