JAKARTA – The realisation of buyback of PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), a gadget distributor, fell below the maximum budget set for said corporate action from May 20 to August 19, 2022.

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (23/8), Amelia Allen, Head of Legal and Corporate Secretary of ERAA, mentioned that the company had allocated IDR 319 billion for the buyback. “During the buyback period, the company managed to repurchase 71,695,900 shares for a total of IDR 35.56 billion,” she continued.

Until July 2022, ERAA’s shares reportedly clocked up to 15.95 billion units. PT Eralink International owned 54.51% of them, followed by the public of 45.08% and the treasury stock of 0.41%.

Assuming that the entire buyback budget was realised, ERAA’s assets might increase IDR 319 billion to IDR 11.05 trillion, as reported in December 2021. In contrast, its equity will be depleted from IDR 6.46 trillion to IDR 6.14 trillion. (LK/ZH)
