DMMX first half revenue soars to IDR 924.3 billion

JAKARTA - PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (DMMX) 1H22 revenue jumped 154.2% YoY to Rp924.3 billion, with EBITDA rising 37.9% YoY to Rp28.7 billion

DMMX reported breathtaking top-line growth of 154.2% YoY, soaring to Rp 924.3 billion in 1H22, up from Rp 363.6 billion in 1H21. This was mainly supported by strong performance in Trade Marketing segment (+150.7% YoY) and Advertising Exchange Hub segment (+119.5% YoY), plus additional boost from two new revenue streams: Digital Wholesale segment (Rp130.6 billion) along with Content & Entertainment segment (Rp1.4 billion).

Trade Marketing segment revenue leaped 150.7% YoY to Rp 712.5 billion in 1H22. DMMX trade marketing member numbers grew 34.4% YoY, numbering 132,193 outlets in 1H22, up from 99,189 members in 1H21. Meanwhile, outlet productivity also significantly improved, as average sales per outlet shot up by 86.5% YoY, from Rp2.9 million in 1H21 to Rp5.3 million in 1H22. This confirms that DMMX has successfully transformed traditional market players from old-fashioned business practice to digital operation.

Advertising Exchange Hub segment revenue grew by 119.5% YoY to Rp842 million in 1H22, skyrocketing from Rp384 million in 1H21. On a quarterly basis, this business segment also booked massive growth of 504% YoY in 2Q22, up from Rp 25 million in 2Q21 to Rp 151 million in 2Q22. This is mostly deriving from Erafone, Mahaka Visual and Media Indonesia.

For information, in the first half of this year, DMMX managed to record a net profit of IDR 10.3 billion. (LM)
