JAKARTA – PT Electronic City Indonesia Tbk (ECII), a managing company of the electronic retail network, collected IDR 1.02 trillion in the first half of 2022, shifting from IDR 966.73 billion recorded in the same period last year.
Quoting the Financial Statement of H1 2022 of Electronic City published today (25/8), Wiradi, President Director of ECII, revealed that the revenue increase was accumulated from the branded electronic goods sales of IDR 982.64 billion, the rental segment’s revenue of IDR 35.90 billion, the consignated goods commission of IDR 2.50 billion, and other source of income of IDR 8.18 billion.
In the same period in 2021, the branded electronic goods sales brought in IDR 910.28 billion, followed by the rental segment of IDR 46 billion, the consignated goods commission of IDR 2.76 billion, and others of IDR 7.68 billion.
Its gross profit also climbed from IDR 167.35 billion to IDR 186.44 billion. However, the profit before tax shrank from IDR 14.06 billion to IDR 10.23 billion due to the increases in operating expenses, financial expenses, and final taxes. In the end, its current year’s profit arrived at IDR 10.23 billion, slipping off from IDR 14.06 billion in H1 2021. (LK/ZH)
