DEPOK - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Toll Road Management Agency (BPJT) together with the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) are accelerating the completion of the construction of barrier-free infrastructure for the Cinere - Jagorawi (Cijago) Section 3, Kukusan - Cinere Toll Road along 5 ,44 kilometers (km) to increase the volume of distribution of goods and services in the Jakarta – Bogor – Depok – Tangerang - Bekasi (Jabodetabek) area.
Secretary of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the PUPR Ministry Triono Jasmono said the Cijago Toll Road stretches for 14.64 km consisting of 3 (three) sections. Section 1 connecting Jalan Raya Bogor - Cimanggis for 3.70 km was operational in January 2012, while Section 2 connecting Kukusan - Jalan Raya Bogor for 5.5 km was operational last September 2019.
"Furthermore, for Section 3 Limo - Kukusan along the 5.44 km construction acceleration is being carried out, and we are optimistic that the construction of Section 3A (Kukusan - Krukut) will operate in November 2022. While the construction of Section 3B (Krukut - Limo) is targeted to operate in January 2023," explained Triono when accompanying the Commission V Special Working Visit (Kunker) of the DPR RI to review the progress of the Cijago Toll Road Section 3 construction, Friday (26/8).
Triono added that currently the overall construction progress has reached 64.96% while for land acquisition it has reached 90.77%, "while the construction cost of Rp. 1.2 trillion with the implementing contractor PT. Lancarjaya Mandiri Abadi – PT. PP Precision KSO," added Triono. (LM)
