JAKARTA. PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk (SMSM), an automotive spare part manufacturer, will distribute the second round of interim dividend of IDR 143.85 billion.
Ang Andri Pribadi, Director of Finance of SMSM, claimed that said plan was arranged based on the decision of the boards of directors and commissioners made last August. The dividend to be paid out is approximately 38.11% of the company’s net profit in the first half of 2022.
For every one share of SMSM, the investor will be granted dividend of IDR 25. The gift will be disbursed to shareholders whose names have entered the list by the recording date on September 8, 2022. The interim dividend itself will be channelled out on September 21, 2022.
According to idnfinancials.com, SMSM posted a net profit of IDR 377.44 billion in H1 2022. In addition to this, the company recorded retained earnings of IDR 2.56 trillion and total equity of IDR 3.22 trillion at the end of June 2022.
For the record, in May 2022, SMSM had disbursed its first round of interim dividend worth IDR 86.38 billion. It is equivalent to approximately 45.99% of the net profit of SMSM gained in the first quarter of 2022. (KR/ZH)
