JAKARTA. PT Bank Oke Indonesia Tbk (DNAR has obtained an intermediate financing facility (IFF) or interbank loan facility from PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI) worth IDR 200 billion.

Efdinal Alamsyah, Director of DNAR, claimed that the credit facility agreement was signed yesterday (1/9). Said agreement mentioned that DNAR will be granted a tenor of two years.

“This credit facility will be channelled to cover the working capital needs of the company,” Alamsyah stated in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Furthermore, Alamsyah believed that this IFF will improve the liquidity ratio of the company. “There are no material impacts on the operational activities, legal position, financial condition, or business sustainability of the company,” he added.

For the record, DNAR is currently aiming to meet the core capital requirement, attaining IDR 3 trillion by the end of this year. One of the initiatives implemented by the company is to issue new shares via a rights issue with an intention to gather fresh funds of IDR 499.42 billion.

Until today, DNAR has reached IDR 2.96 trillion of the targeted IDR 3 trillion in its core capital. Previously, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) had issued Regulation No.12/2020 regarding the Consolidation of Conventional Banks. This regulation mandated banks to gradually raise its core capital to IDR 1 trillion in 2020, IDR 2 trillion in 2021, and IDR 3 trillion in 2022. (KR/ZH)
