JAKARTA. PT Dosni Roha Indonesia Tbk (ZBRA), an investment company under the leadership of Gary Judianto Tanoesoedibjo, a younger relative of Hary Tanoesoedibjo, recorded a loss of IDR 33.85 billion in the first half of 2022.

On the contrary, in the first half of 2021, ZBRA managed to turn in a net profit of IDR 2.01 billion.

ZBRA’s sales actually increased quite significantly in H1 2022, arriving at IDR 1.48 trillion. However, in the same period in 2021, its sales only managed to reach IDR 11.13 billion.

Furthermore, its cost of sales also swelled from IDR 9.36 billion in H1 2021 to IDR 1.29 trillion in H1 2022, dragging the gross profit further down to IDR 189.92 billion.

The unfortunate downturns did not stop there, as the selling expenses took up IDR 31.2 billion, while the financial expenses reached IDR 57.32 billion in H1 2022. In the first semester last year, the company managed to spent zero on these expenses.

ZBRA used to be known as PT Zebra Nusantara Tbk, the owner of Zebra Taxis. On March 2, 2022, the company officially changed its name to PT Dosni Roha Tbk. Then, this modification entails another change in its business focus, leaving the taxi business and turning into a company engaged in an integrated supply chain sector. (KR/ZH)
