SGER’s shareholders to raise authorised capital by IDR 400 billion

JAKARTA – The shareholders of PT Sumber Global Energy Tbk (SGER) has decided to increase the authorised capital of the company by IDR 400 billion. This plan was finalised during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting last week (31/8).

Michael Harold, Corporate Secretary of Sumber Global Energy, confirmed that the company plans to hike its authorised capital from IDR 200 billion to IDR 600 billion. “The decision was agreed by 99.96% of the shareholders or more than 2/3 of the entire shares represented during the meeting,” he further mentioned in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (6/9).

The informed decision regarding this action then extends to the approval of changes in several clauses of the Articles of Association of SGER concerning the authorised capital increase and the change of its ratio to the issued and paid-up capital of the company.

SGER’s shares reportedly reached 3,723,710,904 units until July 2022. PT Sumbermas owns 54.41% of them followed by Vivi Ramalyati Hutama of 9.17%, Welly Thomas of 6.27%, Antonius Gunawan Gho of 6.03%, the public of 24.03%, and foreign investors of 0.09%. (LK/ZH)
