BELL retail sales increases 41% in first half

JAKARTA - PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (“BELL”), an issuer of quality fabrics, uniforms, and fashion, achieved a significant increase in retail sales in the first semester of 2022. Based on the Company's financial reports, BELL's retail sales in the first semester of 2022 were IDR59.4 billion. This achievement increased significantly by 41% from the first semester of 2021, which only reached retail sales of IDR42.2 billion.

The Company continues to strive to increase sales and develop its network by expanding retail sales. BELL plans to expand in 10 retail points of sale under the JOBB and Jack Nicklaus brands this year.

The increase in retail network contributed to BELL's share of domestic sales compared to export sales. In Semester I-2022, BELL's domestic sales amounted to 96.25% compared to 3.75% export sales. There was an increase in BELL's domestic sales portion YoY by 0.85%. In the same period last year, BELL's domestic sales portion was 95.4% compared to 4.6% of export sales. 

In Semester I-2022 BELL recorded sales of IDR203.4 billion. From these sales, IDR195.75 billion came from domestic sales and IDR7.6 billion from exports. BELL earned a net profit of IDR6.9 billion, relatively stable compared to 2021 net profit of IDR7 billion.

Beside adding retail stores, BELL also continues to strengthen sales through digital platforms. BELL has developed digital channels with Yukshopping.com e-commerce platform with Trisula Group which has been started since 2021. BELL has also marketed its products through various marketplaces. (LM)
